Back in Mid August, our whole family took a little break and headed to Monterey Bay and on the way back, we stopped by Hearst Castle in San Simeon.

Traveling with a 15 month old, and 8 and soon to be 12 year old was an adventure worth remembering.  We were three hours past our scheduled time to hit the road.  The adventure began with dropping off a member of the family in O.C. It took over 9 1/2 hours from the time we left until the time we checked in 10:30pm!  The trip up including bathroom breaks, diaper changes, constant crying, complaining, meal breaks, more bathroom breaks.  Stops include Subway, Food 4 Less, Wendy’s, Wal-Mart, Rest Stop and more…
