A Brand New You: The Zerona Laser Chronicles No. 1

January 5th, 2010

As part of our 2010 New Year’s resolution, my wife and I have decided we need to change our lifestyle for the better.  What can we do that will help change our life around.  We can diet more.  We can try to find more time to exercise.  Does that really work?  No.  We’ve tried and failed numerous times.  Like most parents, we have an extremely busy schedule to keep.  With three kids, life is extremely busy and complicated.  We have to earn a living to provide the best we can.  Each kid has a different need.  That means we have very little time to exercise and have a bad eating habit like most people.  We both need to use some weight.  For me, I would love to lose 15-20 lbs.

For this year, with the help of Irvine Chiropractic Center and Zerona Laser and Dr. Kevin Kroes, we are hoping to change for the better.  First up is my wife, Tiffany.  She started last week by taking Niacin Without Flush after dinner.  We tried Niacin, but she didn’t react well to it, so I went out and bought Niacin Without  Flush.  With Dr. Kroes’s help, Tiffany started altering her diet yesterday.  That means for the first week,  no soda, no white rice, no sugar, no salt, no fried food, no dairy products, no peanut butter and a bunch of other things.  Dr. Kroes said drink lots of water, 5 or 6 bottles a day, take your vitamins, eat more meals and eat the right kind of food.  This is extremely hard going cold turkey for Tiffany.  She loves all the sweet and good food.  This way of eating is nothing new, but by utilizing this with the Zerona Laser treatments, we are going to kick start a healthier way of living.  The Zerona Laser treatments will definitely accelerate our plan.  The new healthier way of eating along with this will help us change in the short term and help us going in the right direction.

She is now taking in addiction to Niacin Without Flush, Fiber Powder every night, Pure Green Power (twice a day), Total Enzymes (1 capsule with each meal), Total Probiotics (1-2 capsules per day, these need to be refrigerated after opening), Body Blast (once during mid morning snack).  She is also using a Glutathione topical cream and a Vitamin C cream which I will explain later.  The supplements that she is taken is given to each customer (except for the Vitamin C cream and Niacin Without Flush) who goes through either a 6 or 12-session Zerona Laser session with Irvine Chiropractic Center and Zerona Laser.

Tiffany started her first of twelve sessions yesterday.  Each session is 40 minutes long.  20 minutes on your front area that you are targeting and 20 minutes on the back area of your body.  Following the 40 minute session, she gets a 20 minutes massage. It took a while longer than 1 hr yesterday because she had to get her measurements and I took some before pictures.  She might let me release the before pictures one day but not today (Sorry!).  She will get measured again after her 6th and 12th session.  I will be there to capture those images when she gets her measurements taken.

Without going through too much more detail since I will be blogging about this after every treatment.  Tiffany had three areas measured before her first treatment.  The first is the upper stomach.  The second is the stomach where the belly button meets.  Finally, the third is the lower stomach where her hip bones are.

When I saw Tiffany again after she was complete with the first session, there was a big smile on her face.  She had lost a total of 2 inches!

Feel free to leave a comment and contact me through e-mail or twitter if you have any questions.  Until next time…

Disclaimer:  I am blogging about this because we are personally going through these Zerona Laser treatments first hand.  We received a discount for these treatments.  Everyone’s experience will be different.  Not everyone is a good candidate for this procedure.  Irvine Chiropractic Center and Zerona Laser offers a guarantee if you do not lose at least 1 inch after your first treatment.
